About this blog

So, this is the place on the web where I will give an account of my daily life. Will it be interesting? I don't know. But at least I know I will post the things which interest me.

Moon Shot

night photography Posted on Mar 02, 2010 23:34:04

I shot the moon. Yesterday, with my newly aquired old Meyer Optik “Telemegor” 400mm/f5.6. This lens is huge! And heavy! It has 19 aperture blades, absolutely stunning. I don’t know about the quality of the lens, but this moon shot is okay, I guess. You will see more from this lens soon, I hope….

Light trails A15

night photography Posted on Oct 27, 2009 23:11:26

Tonight I tried something new (to me…). I tried to make pictures of light trails on the nearby highway. I installed myself on the cross-over, my camera mounted on my tripod, a Manfrotto 144B with a 488RC2 ball-head. The lens I used was the S-M-C-Takumar 55mm/F1.8 on which I wrote a earlier post. These photos are made with fully closed aperture (f/16), at ISO100, with about 25″ exposure.
